Who We Are
This website, www.solvis-ecopower.in, is operated by KBS Cleaning Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated in India. We market SOLVIS® ecopower, a concentrated universal cleaner formulated in Germany with Ruehe ecoClean GmbH and made in India, for homes and businesses across India and for export.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy.

What Data We Collect
We only collect information we need to answer your enquiries, fulfil your orders and run this website. The categories of personal data we may collect are:

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health information or government ID numbers. Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments at checkout; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
How We Collect It
We receive personal data only when you give it to us:
- Website forms: business quotes, demos, the cost audit, export and partner enquiries, the contact form, the welcome code, the routine quiz, the savings calculator, document downloads, dilution charts, newsletter and notify-me sign-ups.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: when you message, call or write to us.
- Orders: when you buy from us directly or subscribe.
- Your browser: a few settings saved on your own device so the site works the way you left it (see Cookies and Browser Storage).
We do not buy, rent or obtain personal data from data brokers. Everything we hold about you has come directly from you.
How We Use Your Data
We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:
- Responding to enquiries: answering your questions about SOLVIS®, pricing, supply and exports.
- Quotes, demos and audits: preparing proposals and arranging demonstrations at your site.
- Orders and subscriptions: processing, delivering and supporting your orders, including returns.
- What you asked for: sending your welcome code, savings estimate, routine, dilution chart or documents.
- Offers and tips: emails or messages about SOLVIS®, only if you agreed to receive them.
- Legal compliance: meeting our obligations under Indian law, including the DPDP Act and tax and accounting laws.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing without your consent.
Legal Basis
Under the DPDP Act and, where applicable to customers in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we rely on the following grounds:
- Consent: every form on this website asks for your consent with a tick-box before you send it. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Information you volunteer for a specific purpose: when you place an order or request a quote, we use your data to do what you asked.
- Legal obligation: where we are required to keep or disclose data by law.
To withdraw consent, email contact@solvis-ecopower.in, message us on WhatsApp, or use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Withdrawing consent stops future use; it does not affect anything we did before.
Cookies and Browser Storage
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It saves a few small settings in your own browser (local storage), which never leave your device:

You can clear these at any time in your browser settings. Our online checkout, run by Shopify with payments by Cashfree Payments, may set its own cookies to run your cart and payment.
If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent with a cookie banner before any are set.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these limited cases:
- Service providers: trusted providers who process data on our behalf, such as our web host (GoDaddy), our email provider, our online shop (Shopify), our payment gateway (Cashfree Payments) and our delivery partners. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
- WhatsApp: messages you send us on WhatsApp are carried by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy.
- Our formulation partner: for export or technical enquiries, we may share relevant business details with Ruehe ecoClean GmbH, Germany, to answer you.
- Legal requirements: if required by a court order, regulator or other legal process under Indian law.
- Business transfers: if our business is merged or sold, your data may pass to the new owner under equivalent protections.
When you buy SOLVIS® on Amazon.in or Blinkit, or follow us on Instagram or LinkedIn, those platforms handle your data under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
Data Retention
We keep your personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy:
- Enquiry and form data: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted or anonymised.
- Order, invoice and payment records: 8 years, as required by Indian tax and accounting laws.
- Marketing consent and newsletter email: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
- Spam check: the scrambled IP address is used for 10 seconds and is never linked to your name.
- Browser storage: until you clear it in your browser.
Some of our service providers may store data on servers outside India. Any such transfer follows the DPDP Act and any restrictions set by the Government of India.
Your Rights
Under the DPDP Act and applicable law, you have the following rights:
- Right to access: ask what personal data we hold about you, how we use it and who we've shared it with.
- Right to correction: ask us to correct or complete inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure: ask us to delete your data, unless the law requires us to keep it.
- Right to withdraw consent: at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- Right to grievance redressal: complain to us directly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
- Right to nominate: name someone to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@solvis-ecopower.in. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss. These include:
- Encrypted data transmission via HTTPS
- Enquiry records stored outside the public part of our web server
- Access limited to the team members who need your data
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Children
This website, its forms and offers are meant for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us their data, email contact@solvis-ecopower.in and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, the law or our services. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we will tell you by email or on this website before it takes effect.
